How come Kerry were so much fitter than Mayo today ? I have to question what their doing down there.

Kerry fantastic, a joy to watch in the first half, they had job done and Mayo kicked a few points in the second half when Kerry eased off.
Today the ould legs of Vaughan, Higgins, Boyle, Barrett, o shea were shown up and the young lads just weren't up to that sort of standard.. Meath will relish a chance to finish them off

Watch that 2016 game again lad. He moved out there and cleaned up. Remember sherlock having to tell Cluxton to keep the ball away from him!?

Outstanding."
Ah yeah the lad is ridiculous!

It was 2017 when Sherlock ran out.

I'm sure having to play in different stadia around the country four weeks in a row wouldn't have helped. Something you boys will never have to worry about.

That was '17 , he was centre forward in '17 aswell but pushed up on Cluxton's kick outs in the first half and they got joy out of it tbf but he's only twice played midfield against us in '12 and '13.

Youth, 2 Munster games and a bit of rest v our 3 playoff games in quick succession. Plus there's always a pep in your step when you're on the front foot. And Kerry are quite good at football least we forget.

How many times has that been said in recent years!?

Replying To MesAmis:  "Kerry a joy to watch. Outstanding football at various stages.

Mayo looked a shadow of their former selves. Why did Clarke keep kicking the ball out to Moran? It epitomised their malaise for me.

Mayo not out of it though, they'll beat Meath next weekend and then if Donegal beat Kerry they'll face a second string Donegal side in Castlebar to go through, or if Kerry beat Donegal it'll be a straight shootout at home between themselves and Donegal to go through.

Kerry are through to the semi finals after today regardless of the result against Donegal."
If Donegal beat Kerry and Mayo beat Meath and then Kerry beat Meath and Mayo beat Donegal. That means 3 teams in 4 points and Mayo would probably go out on score difference.
Mayo need Kerry to beat Donegal.

You'd nearly swear they had to play a few weeks in a row or something.

Makes me even more annoyed about last weekend. Galway would have given a better game to Kerry, that Mayo effort is sadly abysmal.

What a spanking, Horan will need to have a look at himself as well. Doherty and Mcloughlin have to be benched now. And we really need DOC, Ruane and Durcan back. Vaughan and Coen are good athletes but so limited. Need Kerry to win next week and hope we have a kick left.

Let's not start writing Mayo off yet , they'll beat Meath next weekend then have Donegal in Castlebar with more than likely Durkan , Ruane and D O Conor back so their far from finished imo.

Fresher and younger side are Kerry. The conditioning advantage that Mayo had for 5 or 6 years is now gone and what is left is a lot of bodies with loads of mileage on the clock. Time doesn't stand still for any man or team!

Galway weren't good enough to beat Mayo, get over it!

Vaughan has lost his pace and for some reason he left Coen who has no pace on Kerry's fastest forward the whole game.
