At the very top download and look at that PDF. End of 2016 Dublin GAA had 6.3m sitting in the bank. 500k more then the previous year. I'd hazard a guess that due to winning 2 all ireland's since the revenue coming in is even higher. I'd guess that today there's probably over 7.5m sitting in your bank.

It really is a disgrace that such a wealthy county gets so much more then everyone else. Maybe after you do the 10 in a row you'll finally accept it and call for change.

But they are so what's your point?"
I pretty sure you know what the point is. Dublin have fallen over the line in 3 of their 4 all ireland wins. Only in one final have they been convincing. Mayo should had won at least one of the 4 that Dublin won. They conceded two own goals !!! . Kerry at least one. It's a very fragile thing Dublin have going. If they do win 5 in a row, I can see a massive fall off for this team. When gavin goes and 4 to 5 players step away things will be different.

Totally agree. Just goes to show, as you demonstrate, that you can have all of the money, population and home games in the world but it doesn't just magic up a great team. Dublin have been extremely lucky, blessed in fact, to be going for 5 on the bounce.

Donegal, Tyrone, Kerry and Mayo are playing at a good level. People are saying that there is a gap. Dublin supporters are keeping away. Is there a solution?

Interesting this thread gets a bump when there is a bit of heat on Ewen, coincidences happen I suppose. ;)

You have agreed in another thread that the gap is keeping ye're supporters away.

Can we all just discuss fairness?

No but it's a huge help.

It's the closest thing to professional as there is. They dont have to go doing their own funding compared to other counties. They all live in Dublin, many of them handed very easy jobs and cars.

Dubs dont really just get it. That's one of the problems.

Horan has been an embarrassment so far. But sure teams love playing in croker

Dublin success is due to a lack of marking. Even teams with an extra man do mark the Dubs, Mayo might have the best chance.

Horan is a total mook, malachy clerking had a good article about him last week , it's well worth a read.

God be with the days (I'm not at all religious btw) when we used to have a good laugh at the Dubs falling short on the big days to Mayo, Kerry, Tyrone, Donegal and the like.
Have to agree though that Horan has not been good in the media with the finance issue. The fact that he's a Dub during a period of such dominance for Dublin is unfortunate for him. I do think he's a good President though and is trying to change a lot of things behind the scenes that you have to dig deep to see.

Heffo had plenty of educated men in his team. I think I read sometime he picked men who were educated but don't quote me.

Two Dublin teams will fill out Croke Park for a Leinster final. It'll be a rivalry bigger than Real Madrid v Barcelona. Surely that's a return on the GAA investment?

Lovely insult there with your name calling.

I shouldn't really respond to you that level of rudeness.

You've listed out a number of players. I said many. They have a panel of 30. Is MDMA still a science? Why is McCauley going around to primary schools a few days a week?

Many have nice gigs. Read ? Many.

Tell me did a lot of Dublin players get lovely new cars a few years ago?

Do you're best not to insult.

As I said , yous just dont get it
