What was the attendance today? 16,500 at Clare v Cork.

I just seen it was 39,100. What an unbelievable attendance. There will be 45,000 at the final. Surely that will break last year's attendance total for the entire munster championship?

Limerick dreadful today. Unrecognizable from last week. Reminded me of Clare after under Davy, short unnecessary passes constantly getting themselves into trouble. Trouble which cost them on the scoreboard.

Tipp worries, huge amount of frees they're giving up in the scoring zone. This kept Limerick in the game.

No complaints about Clare's exit from the championship . Typical, finally beat Cork and it didn't matter. Wouldve been robbery if Clare stayed in the championship. New management needed. Too naive in tactics. No plan B. Just not up to it.

Also huge congrats to Dublin. Shame they didn't make Leinster final.

Typical Tipp arrogance, you beat the All Ireland champions and ye're still complaining.Tipp beat us up didn't give us a inch of space and are in Munster final as red hot favourites and will probably win the All Ireland as well-why can't ye let yerselves be happy.

By resting our injured captain, some key players and running out of steam on our third match in a row limerick were working off some dark pro Cork, anti-Clare/Tipp agenda??
Seriously?"
If I was from Clare i'd be pissed off because a Limerick win would have put Clare through.

I didn't know Hannon is carrying a knock so that changes things. I still think it is very hard on Clare. Limerick might rue Cork being still in the championship down the line.

Arrogant? We played the strongest 15 available to us, Limerick didn't. I'd like to see who Clare posters think were arrogant.

I am delighted Tipp won today and unfortunately it came at the cost of Barrett and Bonnar. Our wins to date count for nothing from here on and any slip ups by us will be fatal. Our season could very easily be over in four weeks time without a trophy.

Our concession of defensive frees is a tricky one because it is coming from serious intensity which has to be lauded. We need a Donie Buckley style coach to show them how to continue to be aggressive in the tackle without giving away the free. This has been an issue for us for 3 or 4 years now.

I never knew Tipp were that worried about Clare
Tipp people seem more upset about beating Limerick than Limerick people do about losing to Tipp. Ye won today enjoy it but we both know the next day will be totally different with a lot more intensity and hopefully from our point of view a lot more clinical and direct and we might even put a forward in around Paudie Maher to occupy him. I think if both teams went at full on today and full on again in the final there would be a real danger of burn out and players taking serious knocks like unfortunately the Bonnar got In 2 weeks time there will be no excuses and maybe if we are lucky enough it won't affect maybe a 3rd meeting and if we have to deal with Cork again then we'll have to.

Your concern for Clare is heart warming.
You seriously think they'd give a second thought to dumping either of us out of the championship??

We gave lads an opportunity to put themselves in contention for the final.. No harm in that considering all the talk about our strenght in depth... Limerick will be a different animal from here on.. It's pretty obvious what our strongest team is after today.

Heavyweight clash? Felt more like shadowboxing to be honest.

I see no problem with resting players like Limerick did today from a sporting point of view, they had earned the right to do so imo.

The only problem I'd see is that is 2 very flat performances from them out of 4 games and the 2 games they won were against weak enough opposition. Winning can be a habit but equally losing can be too.

Lot of Limerick posters ere referring to Tipp people than to the actual posters opinion.
In my view Limerick shud not be worried and Tipp should not be thinking we're unbeatable at this early stage.
Limerick will be fresher Hannon will be back Lynch will be back and I fear for Tipp in this final a passionate Limerick crowd in Gaelic Grounds could see them home by 6 or more points. Still think Limerick are better than us but I do think there is more in this Tipp team and while we beat the best team in the country today I hope we have not played our best hurling in these 4 matches.

Barrett will be a big loss if he misses matches. Him and Paudie Maher your best backs by a country mile.

Disagree. Our whole half back line are in contention for player of the year so far, along with Noel McGrath

Can you answer me a question?. When Clare beat Limerick last year, limerick were tired, god bless them. When Cork beat Limerick this year, it was Limericks 1st game and they weren't championship ready and now Tipp beat Limerick, whats Limericks excuse?.

Did yer sulky's break down on the way to Thurles or what? I was expecting a Limerick win.

This is it, i'll get what I wanted to see today in two weeks time and it may not be the result I want. I was really looking forward to today's game up until the point the Limerick was announced, today's game went exactly as the line ups suggested.

Noel McGrath has been phenomenal in every game and the so called pundits don't seem to be picking up on it enough.

Dont worry about it Dec, because the vast majority of us, as in limerick supporters are not too concerned. Conversely, I would contend Tipp may not have been over concerned yesterday either. As most newspaper pundits are saying this morning yesterdays game just may have been a phony war. Time will tell. Clare, Limerick, Tipp, Offaly, Cork and Kilkenny have all won All Irelands through the back door and nobody bats an eyelid. Tipp were the better team yesterday. We move on to the Munster Final and sadly, and I genuinely mean that, Clare are out. The only really competitive game in Thurles yesterday was the Minor Game and our young lads came through with flying colours. Congratulations also to the young Banner boys as well on their fine victory over a much heralded Cork side. It is great to see two teams from outside the 'big two' contesting the final.

Dont mind me lads, i was a bit drunk and feeling bitter. Clare cant have any complaints.

Delighted at how we played yesterday, best 70 minute performance from a Clare team since 2013.
Looking forward to the rest of the Championship now.
