Especially now with a 'weakened' limerick side

It might be a "weakened" Limerick team but I don't see any weak links in their line-out. That goes to show what a strong panel they have - surely the best squad in the country.

Dowling for Hegarty despite how good he has been this year probably makes you stronger in the sense that dowling is your best free taker. Gillane has been better again this year but not near the free taker that dowling is. Hannon and Lynch tho are probably your two most influential players. I think tipp will regret not doing similar. We have a strong forward panel but we could have blooded a few in this game. Big mistake not to.

i think it was a huge mistake by sheedy not blooding some of the younger players on the panel ......he might think they are going well in training matches but nothing compares to the white heat of muster championship.

I am also expecting a big game from Clare on Sunday. But they could have "easily won the All Ireland" is absolutely ridiculous, make no mistake the best team of 2018 won the All Ireland and was'nt it Cork they beat in the semi final.

100% agree. A lot of miles on the clock of at least half the team. Our only chance reallyto blood a few players. All very well to say you want to stay winning but it's a mistake in my opinion. He has taken off the younger players too in the games we've won

Poor enough fare after half an hour, both sides going through the motions. MesAmis (Dublin) - Posts: 13704 - 16/06/2019 14:32:35 2195750 Link 1 |
Best wishes to Bonnar Maher. Hope he makes as quick a recovery as possible. Great wholehearted player. BliainanÁir (Laois) - Posts: 598 - 16/06/2019 14:41:46 2195753 Link 0 |

Limerick have been very sloppy today. ballydalane (Kilkenny) - Posts: 1246 - 16/06/2019 15:36:42 2195782 Link 0 |
Limerick could lose 3 games and still win the all Ireland, game never got going and the final could be the same hopefully not. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 16/06/2019 15:48:09 2195786 Link 1 |

No injuries for Limerick and rested key players. Into the final. Smart play. Will the final be in Limerick or PUC? Jack_Goff (Meath) - Posts: 2920 - 16/06/2019 15:55:54 2195794 Link 1 |
Handy win as expected for Tipp ....they will win the Munster Final by more. katser (Galway) - Posts: 2192 - 16/06/2019 16:00:55 2195798 Link 0 |
Disgraceful stuff by Limerick today, they have made an enemy out of Tipp and Clare and thrown Cork a lifeline at the same time. Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 16/06/2019 16:01:10 2195799 Link 1 |
The final shouldn't be the same. A Munster final in the Gaelic Grounds is a big deal.I dont think it will be a tame affair..i hope not. Limerick half backs without Hannon were rudderless. Some of the Tipp shooting was great and some wasnt. Limerick forwards were poor enough..Gillane and Morrissey were good. The ref was poor...laughing and joking with Paudie Maher...not very professional. Have him a few soft frees aswell.

Terrible lack of intensity. Suppose it was kind of a dead rubber. Would expect it to be very different in 2 weeks. Viking66 (Wexford) - Posts: 11714 - 16/06/2019 16:25:37 2195813 Link 0 |
Take up fishing Katser.. Use your time off more sensibly.

What's your point? By resting our injured captain, some key players and running out of steam on our third match in a row limerick were working off some dark pro Cork, anti-Clare/Tipp agenda?? Seriously? skillet (Limerick) - Posts: 1056 - 16/06/2019 16:46:25 2195826 Link 0 |
