Also that he played in 1983 AIF along with Mullins and Drumm making the cross over from the 70s team.

A great Dublin footballer with ball winning skills. Anton had a unique and effective solo run, also had a great
left footed kick. Prior to 2016 and other than Kerry players ,he was only one of three footballers to have won
4 All- Ireland senior football medals, the others were Brian Mullins and Mattie McDonagh (Galway).

I met Anton before Christmas in a hospital I work & I sat & spoke with him for nearly an hour. He seemed happily surprised that I recognised him. Such a lovely man, he told me that he got more injuries playing golf after retiring from football than he ever did playing with Dublin. Wonderful footballer with huge skill & what a game he had in the '77 semi-final, scoring I think four points, which I said to him. Condolences to his family, friends & to Dublin GAA & supporters. Rest in peace Anton, thank you for giving your time to a Kerry man. Apologies for late post.
