April For The Clubs????

(Oldest Posts First)

I see on the main page, a report from a challenge game between Kildare and Roscommon.

I know, also, Cavan play Meath next week in a pitch opening.

What is the exact ruling in relation to 'April for clubs'?

Not sure of the exact ruling. But I know Meath v Cavan and Meath v Roscommon are two challenges set for this month both have been okd by hq. As they are pitch openings.

I believe an exception was granted for the Kildare
V Rossie game as it was a clubs 100 year celebration and would assume such is true for Meath v Cavan as well. Nonetheless, it can be seen to put these counties at an advantage and their clubs at a disadvantage and really defeats the premise of having April off.

County teams continue to train during april so these matches are only replacing a training session
