Mayo trainjng hard since Oct and apart from cillian they have their full championship team, so it depends on which Mayo turn up? Last Saturday's team or the one that did against Galway. I think Monaghan will be up for this and may pip them..

Mayo have not been training since October....you and some Galway fans are obsessed with us and live trotting out the line we have no new players (which is untrue) and keep harping home Galway have a second team to come back in....god help us all.

Also the complete Mayo squad only train once a week in Castlebar because nearly half of the squad are based in Dublin and are training by themselves.

Any way it will be a tight game on Sunday and it wouldn't surprise me if it ended in a draw.

As you said corofin lads only finishing up now, would they want to go straight into Galway training, where its most likely defensive training. was talking to a lad in the galway panel, a midfielder, he was saying its not great training.
Dalys were playing with club up too middle of December and straight into county training, sure no wonder there always injured. the hard training Galway did last winter is still causing injuries.

tommy123- 4th of Novemeber was the date of the Galway senior chamionship final replay. The Dalys had league games after that but there's no way they were training at the same levels in December as they were prior to losing the final.

One post from Monaghan and then the Galway and Mayo lads go at it! Haha

Back to the actual game, hoping Monaghan are getting back into the right gear ahead of Championship, its been a poor league but as long as we stay up overall it will be seen as a success. I would like to think we will get something this weekend so we are not dependent on Kerry beating Roscommon.

Mayo have been very unpredictable in performance and results in this league. As the trend goes it's like a game we would loose but I think now that the chance a league final appearance has re appeared, Horan and the team will be going all out to win.

Monaghan are likely safe assuming Kerry beat Roscommon. Monaghan and Mayo have had a few fiery league games of late...men thrown out over advertisement hoardings and all....

Mayo by 4.
