Corofin V Dr Crokes

Replying To KingdomBoy1:  "The crokes are strong up front alright clon, when you think gooch can only get on for the final 10 mins in games.

Looney O'Leary Shaw and Brosnan are excellent and I'd have gooch and Jordan kiely ahead of him from the dubs but I'd have an on form burns ahead of Gavin O'Shea . Jays they have a seriously strong forward line alright but corrofin are excellent at the back as well."
Jordan Kiely must be the unluckiest youngster in football. All Ireland minor winner in 2014 and he scores for fun when selected by Crokes. He'd be on most inter county panels IMO. Maybe a bit like Tony Brosnan he needs a couple years to find his way but I'd start him ahead of Gavin O'Shea.

Ya kiely is a goal machine, did he score 2 or 3 points when he came on as a sub in the final in 2014?

He might get more of a chance with the new manager.

Am I harsh on Burns or would you agree?"
Do you mean St Patrick's Day ? 'Paddies' is a pejorative term used by Brexiteers to describe Irish people, it has negative connotations for any of us who worked in the Britian of the 70s and 80s Our National Feast honours St Patrick not the grotesque figure depicted by Guinness hats and red beards

I'd say it's like most things people say as in you take it in its context. If you look to be offended then you'll probably be offended no matter what. Anyway enjoy the day and the matches.

Please weather don't ruin, this game if this is not a classic (weather) then we all may give up on football. The two best teams at the peak of their powers , remember Gooch can't get a game for Crokes that tells you have strong they are up front , Corofin have Ian Burke nuff said. Going for Crokes to win can't wait.

Come on the Crokes, on a side note probably the last time we will see the Gooch in Croke Park.

Crokes full back a lucky man to only get yellow. There a should be no place for such thuggish behaviour. Knew exactly what he was doing.

Great game so far, Crokes very economical which could make all the difference.

Crokes discipline is awful. One man off and extremely lucky not to have 2 off. The full back should have gone twice!

Get the Gooch on pronto and cut out the hardman antics. They're still in this.

Corofin playing some beautiful football though too be fair.

Crokes bringing on Gouch feels like Napoleon throwing the Old Guard against the thin red line at Waterloo. Here's hoping it's just as effective.

Beir Bua an Cora Finn!

Corofin are wonderful ambassadors for our game. Possibly the best club team I've seen.

Probably his last game in Croke Park. He owned it many a day. We won't see the likes of Colm Cooper for a good while. Class.

Two teams at totally different levels.

Corofin toying with Crokes, tapping balls over the bar when the could easily go in for goals. That'll smart a bit I'd say.

A pleasure to watch.
