Interesting to see who replaces Buckley , the young fella who wears 18 (great player) went out the field the last day I wonder does Gooch get in corner forward for the final with him going back out the field?

Good question. Hard to say what they'll do.

I'll say a draw with Corofin winning the replay. Should be close.

They should just play extra time in the event of a draw. Schedules are tight enough as it is.

Never in doubt. If there's a final to be played, a way will be found to get the player off.
Messing aside, I didn't see any replay of the incident, so I'm assuming Crokes did have some video.

Delighted he got off but the video clearly shows him punching the Longford player, I guess you need to tickled a linesman to really get suspended.

I think he threw the elbow back to get away from his man who was holding him clon, now it's still not right and he's a lucky boy.

GAA rescind red card to allow player from important club/county to play in a final - who'd have thought it eh!

100%. No integrity in disciplinary issues in GAA any more.

Good to see Buckley cleared.
It was a pathetic decision to see him red carded in the first place. Not as bad but nearly as bad as to the Corofin full forward who got sent off in last years semi against the Kildare crowd.

As for Gooch playing....I think his days are coming to an end and likely may not see him until the last ten mins.

It was pathetic and I don't want anyone missing missing a club final and it's great he's not BUT Tv pictures from behind the goal clearly show him punching the Longford player. I don't get how he got off? Everyone on here two years ago after the Connolly incident told me a million times "rules are rules" ?????

So basically like we all knew at the time Connolly was witch hunted from the get go and nothing was going to stop them getting their man.

I totally agree. Buckley is clearly seen striking an opposing player. Ultan Harneys appeal failed and video evidence shows no strke. Double standards

As far as I was aware the only video of the incident was from Dr Crokes own recording of the game. Doubt it will ever see light of day though.

I've looked, Buckley strikes and Harney doesn't.
