I know everybody posting here would like to see Roscommon successful so let's give Anthony Cunningham a fair wind and wish him well and see how it goes for the primrose and blue.

Oh right that changes everything that happened st the end of his Galway tenure. Good to know. Obviously he has support within the county and he can hardly do any worse than McStay and is probably costing a lot less over all.

Was a very good manager for Galway hurlers and nearly got us across the line. I think most players felt a fresh impetus and a few new ideas were needed rather than that personal at the end of his tenure. He remains hugely respected and liked in Galway by genuine supporters and many of the past players. He is an interesting appointment with his football experience of winning county titles, and his experiences with Galway and Dublin hurlers last year. Roscommon have very good players if they get their full panel and can bridge the gap to the chasing pack but obviously miles off Dublin as are most. Wish him and Roscommon well outside of any match against Galway

No there wasnt, thats exactly what happened.. and Michael Donoghue ironically cleared out the older lads when he camd in and they won Liam. Stop trying to look for something elsr that isnt there.. Ye in Mayo know all about shafting managers.. Cunningham is an excellent appointment..

Lol so O Donoghue cleared out all the lads who had a problem with Cunningham?

I am not saying he isn't the right choice, I am saying it didn't end well with Galway and it wasn't just a couple of older lads running the show. Oh and you having a pop at Mayo. Shock horror.
