(Oldest Posts First)

A big day in Europe today.
650 players in total from 50 clubs across 16 countries.

The big story was the Warsaw ladies ending the Belgian ladies 10 year winning streak to win the senior championship.
Amsterdam beat Warsaw men in the men's senior championship.
Frankfurt ladies intermediate champions.
Liffre were crowned men's intermediate champions and Munich junior champions.

The Liffre team is entirely French (or Breton, depending on how they identify). They kicked some points yesterday which wouldn't look out of place in Croke Park.

Well done all. Do Amsterdam qualify for the Leinster junior club championship now?

Don't think so, believe it was discontinued. Warsaw won the European senior title last year and can't recall hearing about them playing any Irish opposition.

Amsterdam won the European 15 a side championships a few weeks ago and by winning that qualified to play in Leinster.
They're playing against the Dublin junior champions next weekend

The score in that match was St. Finians 0-08 Amsterdam 0-06.
Very respectable. The St. Finians lads no doubt had a pint or two during the week after their win, but still...
