Yup. He has no ego and is not afraid to attack a game, the young lads love him and he has no connection to any of the older players.

Plus if he comes back he might be able to convince Shane Ryan to come back in goal s and mark o'connor To come back from Oz.

We can dream of better days.

The one bad point of the super 8 and it's only a small criticism, are dead rubber games. One today and if you really look at it two yesterday.

Galway players did not seem too bothered at home yesterday (which surprised me) and Kildare lads have it a rattle but when it came to the crunch didn't have the extra drive needed to challenge that a potential semi place might have given them.

Not sure what you can do about that, it has been a successs by and large. I still think that the best option is a straight up open draw knockout.

The merits or otherwise of the super 8s shouldn't be judged on how much it inconveniences Kerry.
