Replying To JoeSoap:  "I was replying to somebody who mentioned the FAI. And the GAA are a community organisation but they have been moving away from those values which I stated. We're in agreement so I don't know why you took issue with my post."
JoeSoap I was not taken issue with your post. My apologies if it came across like that. You like the majority of posters are adding honest discussion to the topic. It does get rather annoying with the GAA going from one shoot yourself in the foot controversy to the next. Using rules selectively without understanding the implications. Or else these rules are so ambiguous that interpretation is above their intelligence. There are so many examples of this in 2018 alone that it is too repeditive to keep repeating, It is also annoying to here them and SOME posters on here defending these decisions by selecting the part that suits their views or the controversy at the time.

Replying To DonaldDuck:  "Croke Park have offered the FAI the use of their conference facilities to organise their charity match as well as offered to host a charity hurling match at PUiC to assist the Miller family.

The larger question is what the FAI do with their resources. Scandelous how there aren't 15k seater stadia in Cork and Athlone

Why would FAI put in 15k seater stadiums in both Cork and Athlone? How often would they be filled and for what other uses would they have?"
Sure how often is Pearse stadium filled? Actually filled - twice a year? HOw often will the new Páirc in Cork be filled, twice a year?

The FAI should have a 15k seater stadium for cup finals, LOI teams playing pre-season friendlies against bigger teams, European games, etc etc etc
