Tyrone are more of an attacking than a defensive team, some bad lapses and goals leaked. Against a better team, a defence as prone to switching off as that will pay a price. Tyrone are definitely contenders for a semi final.

Felt sorry for Roscommon. I d say a lot of people did but I think Tyrone had to prove a point to all their admiring pundits. Roscommon have one of the nicest managers in the business. Hopefully they can bounce back. border Gael (Monaghan) - Posts: 894 - 15/07/2018 07:20:54 2121915 Link 0 |
Yeah impressed by Tyrone's movement up front last night. Enjoyed them. Soft goals being conceded is not something to associate with Tyrone but if they tighten up they'll make semi-finals I think. Looking forward to the trip to Omagh now. Dubs are there to be got at this year I believe. MesAmis (Dublin) - Posts: 13707 - 15/07/2018 08:57:34 2121927 Link 1 |

Great performance from Tyrone and they have really turned their season around. Richie Donnelly, Cathal McShane, Ronan McNamee and Niall Sludden were all excellent. It will be interesting to see how they handle the Dubs next weekend. Green_Gold (Donegal) - Posts: 1874 - 15/07/2018 12:32:17 2122007 Link 0 |

It's all well and good racking up the points against teams that play into your hands, we did the same against Armagh last year in the quarters then met Dublin. What will Tyrone do when Dublin go in front ..... Play counter attack again and look silly with Dublin doing the keep ball game they are fond of so to avoid being turned over, certainly they are allowed to do so. Not sure Tyrone have anything different to offer than last year if they go behind. But if we manage to go ahead and in front at half time against dubs the you never know. cacsmckilly (Tyrone) - Posts: 1294 - 15/07/2018 21:08:37 2122392 Link 0 |
