Replying To Onion Breath:  "I see that after all the whinging we've had to put up with from Antrim all week, including references to lasting damage to Neil McManus and that he wouldn't play again this year, he still managed to miraculously clip over 11 points against Leix today ...."
Disgraceful post. Normally you talk sense Onion so I'm surprised.
You know where McManus got stiches, you know it could of been a lot more serious, life changing. I think it shows the type of man McManus is for togging out today.
You were wrong earlier saying the manager didn't comment on the Carlow's discipline when he did and you are wrong now.

Why silence? Doesn't fit the Joe Duffy narrative. Nothing to chat about here, move along. Common assault basically, but nothing being done about it.

No Onion Breath. A testimony to Neill's commitment and dedication after some unwanted and unjustified physical and verbal abuse. Neither has a place in our game. Would you agree?

Not really helping there Onion.

A bad challenge that caused a injury can't be defended.

Good to see him back playing today.

Last year we played Antrim four times and I can't remember a dirty stroke in any of them from either side.

Last week was out of character for Carlow but we have to make sure there's no repeat of 3 red cards.

For all the talk here, two Carlow lads get one game suspension and one gets two game's. Move on. Well done Carlow today getting the win, short at least six regular starters.

OK I withdraw, hands up I thought McManus was the victim of allegedly an attempted arm break and that apparently he wouldn't play again this season. Reading back I see now it was something potentially far worse, but not necessarily as long term, that he was apparently on the receiving end of. Fair play to him for togging out today in the circumstances.

Shaping up for an interesting finish to this competition, especially if Kerry beat Westmeath tomorrow. Carlow were lucky to get two of our suspensions out of the way against Meath today. Meath are as good as relegated now and could get whipped in their last two games which might be significant if scoring difference is needed to settle a blanket finish.
