There's a browser extension you can use that'll allow access to the iPlayer from anywhere. You then have to set your region to NI on the iPlayer site. Generally works for me without issue

Great result for fermanagh. Not the biggest surprise though. Rory again showed he is a top level manager as opposed to mcgeeney who has always flattered to deceive. Rory wasn't too bothered by the league final result. He used it as a guide to prepare his team for the championship tie. Mcgeeney on the other hand is a great worker but he lacks that bit extra in the management skills that the likes of a Gallagher brings. Clearly there is no love lost between McGeeney and Gallagher going by the clips on the Sunday game with Gallagher parading up and down the sideline roaring and fist pumping in the direction of the Armagh bench and a fairly frosty handshake at the end. I'm sure McGeeney is no saint but I though Gallagher was out of order and it is fairly embarrassing seeing a manager behaving like a child like that. They could meet again in the qualifiers and McGeeney may have the last laugh then. BigJoe14 (Meath) - Posts: 934 - 21/05/2018 12:02:41 2102606 Link 1 |
Was on the other side of the pitch and didn't see what was going on on that sideline but I believe that the Armagh official, Paddy McKeever, was sent to the stand for jostling Gallagher so obviously it was not all one-sided as you suggest

I was on side of pitch at McKeever incident. Aidan Forker had been getting a bit of 'attention' from a couple of Fermanagh players which seemed to rile McKeever a bit. An Armagh player got a free near dugouts. While he was being treated Forker had the ball. Gallagher started roaring and Forker and he exchanged verbals. McKeever then came in and shoved Gallagher. Gallagher complained and McKeever got sent to stand.

Obviously Gallagher is a good manager as he has done well wherever he has gone and seems like the kind of coach the players he works with would love but he wouldn't be flavor of the month with anyone outside of that. BigJoe14 (Meath) - Posts: 934 - 22/05/2018 09:05:36 2102885 Link 0 |
I'm sure he'll be devastated about that .
