Replying To tiobraid:  "Carlovia crowned champion with 3 games to go I believe. Well done!"
I think technically I could still be caught with a few draws and replays but looking good.

Carlow footballers get promoted, our hurlers get promoted and win Mcdonagh cup so not a bad year.

Thanks for Portin for organizing and Saffron and tiobraid for doing the recent scores.

Will go for Galway 6-10 and Cork Limerick draw.

Would love to see Limerick winning All Ireland but Galway look unstoppable

I think we both know that's not going to happen! Well done. Added a bit more interest for me especially in the lower divisions. Between the league and cship prediction competition, i've learnt a lot about these teams, but a lot to learn about all teams going on some of my scores!

For the semi -finals.
I genuinely think Clare have a chance of beating Galway. Galway have been impressive but I expected them to steam roll teams - it's great they havent being giving out the beatings I thought they might. If Clare's big players down the middle, McInerney, Galvin, Kelly and Conlon are on their game they've a good chance of an upset.

I'd have stronglty fancied Cork a couple of weeks ago but if Limerick repeat their performace and put a couple of goals away then they will win. Having said that Cork have, in a funny kind of a way gone a bit under the radar the last two years despite winning two Munsters - is that a mad statement?!! In Cship hurling they've been very consistent and have gone about sorting their issues in defence out quite well and it appears all of a sudden have a really well balanced side. Really looking forward the battle and match up's between the Limerick backs - who were briallinat the last day- and the Cork forwards.

I'll agree with the bookies and say
Galway 6-10
Cork 1-5

Well done carlovia you're home and hosed. Give us a shout when you want to take in the tour of Bord Na Mona O'Connor Park. The peat briquettes are all yours but you won't be needing them any time soon.

Will hopefully be up there in a few months for the club hurling match and maybe even league matches in football and hurling.

I'd like to think that Offaly man will be on the terrace behind the goals for my visit.

Both games went to extra time at weekend. Based on the results after 70 minutes, as per rules set out by Port in Faithful. There were no winners this week.
Only 2 posters, Cockney Cat and Port got the Limerick result correct, after extra time.
Carlovia is still leading the way. Looks like he will be joining The man in the Offaly jersey at the Park Avenue end of O'Connor Park later on. Think he should wear the Carlow jersey that day.

The Galway Clare replay is on Sunday next in Thurles at 2pm. Who will join Limerick in the final?

Predictions are for the 70 minutes of each match so anyone whi had the draw in each match get the points.

I say this as i had the Cork limerick match as a draw.

I really want this o connor park trip !!

Carlovia you are correct, 5 points for you making your total 173 points. The rest of us remain the same.
Think you better book accommodation in Tullamore for the big day.

Clare 1-5 for the replay.
A big chaneg from when I predicted Galway would walk the All Ireland. I just feel the momentum is now with Clare. I won't be putting money on it though!

Galway 1-5

Clare were awesome but I still think Galway are a better team. It's hard to see them getting so many wides again. Mac being out will hurt but I think they'll be ok.

Hon Galway!

Offaly and Carlow champions club quarter final? It very well could be a repeat of last year's semi final pairing. That man is Mick McDonagh! I've no doubt that Mick will be there for the big occasion!

Will go for Galway 6-10 this week.

But hope it's another classic. Talk about being spoiled this summer.
