We've still some way to go. Looked like ye had the extra man when ye went down to 14.

Think everyone needs to calm down a bit about galway ,I'm extremely happy the situation they are in at the moment but this Galway team have been back in training along time now and a lot of them players played fbd and all league games they are at their top level while other teams are still a good bit off theirs yet,I just hope galway don't become Roscommon from 2 years ago who took fbd and league serious playing their best possible teams in almost every game and then championship comes along they aren't the same and the good teams will have easily learned how to play against them but time will tell, good performance today tho regardless of the outcome

Galway football is on the up and will only continue to get better. The amount of talent they have is brillaint; Comer, Brannigan, Daly, Cummins, Cooke, Duggan, Kerin, O'Ceailliagh, Heany, Walsh etc. etc.
In a matter of fact i'm going to put 50 on them to reach the All-Ireland final and to win Connacht.

Some turnaround, 2 of that fullback line were destroyed and targeted by us in the 1/4 final.

you might as well throw 50 down the drain.

Galway are on the right track but we'll need to see how they go in the super 8's if and when they make it that far to really make a judgement. They have a harder edge about them and I liked the fact that they got up in Dublin's faces on Sunday. That game will stand to them.

The Mayo game will be huge. If the can win that & go on to win Connacht they'll have a serious pep in their step for the super 8's. Like others have mentioned though, I wonder will they be able to sustain their fitness levels and form throughout what could be a long summer? It will be interesting to find out. The GAA needs a strong Galway team. Other counties like Meath and Cork should take note.

Come on now, a team with players of such quality and talent. They reached the Division one final with out the Corofin lads (Burke, Lundy, Farragher, Power) and also without a couple of key players due to injury like Cummins and Daly.
