Replying To TheHermit:  "My friend to paraphrase a famous rebuke by Big Jack on Dunphy, your opinion of me means about as much as that fly crawling on the wall.

Kerry have always tried to do their best working within the means of their own resources. We saw what Dublin were like doing the same before the gravy train rescued them.

Just because you can't defend what's happening doesn't mean you have to be insulting, but that seems to be the only way a lot of Dublin posters on here can debate. Good luck now.."
To quote another rebuff referencing a Jack " you sir are no Jack Charlton ".
Insults, no, you twist every thing into an insult to play the victim card. I have your number lad.

Interesting reading"
It's these articles that irritate me.

Almost all of Dublin's allocation goes to games development in the form of development officers.

For other counties none of their allocation goes to that. All their development officers are paid for by their Provincial council.

http://www.gaa.ie/mm/Document/MyGAA/ClubAdministrators/12/21/49/GamesDevelopmentAnnualReport2014_English.pdf

This is a good report on the GAAs development plan from 2014. The appendix gives the breakdown of finances. It also shows the number of development officers in employment.

Since the Dublin's funding has been reduced, they get about 15% now of the development funding compared to 20% previously.

More money has been deployed to the Leinster council for Meath, Kildare, Wicklow and Louth (about €500k per year), Belfast also has had an increase in funding.

I would take everything Niall says with a pinch of salt.
