Has been off a while due to family illness and his Dad passed away in the past year.

Unfortunately has been injury prone since 2012. Was released back to his club to get fit , he's still only 28 and might be back on the county panel next year especially if his club form remains good and seeing as the likes of Peter Domican,Padraig Kelly of a similar age have been recalled
