Two Limerick clubs have come together and raised €6,000 for PPE and supplies in University Hospital Limerick.

Ballysteen and Monaleen would have expected to start their football championship campaigns this month but with all GAA activities suspended, are working to support their local communities.

As well as collecting shopping and prescriptions for those who need assistance, both clubs decided to set up a joint Go Fund Me page -  https://www.gofundme.com/f/ballysteen-amp-monaleen-gaa-for-front-line-staff - to support the frontine staff in Limerick hospital.

Already nearly €6,000 has been raised.
