Fermanagh defender Che Cullen believes no team will fancy facing them in the qualifiers.
The Erne County have been handed arguably the toughest draw of the round as they face Monaghan in Clones on Sunday, June 9th.
There is no doubt that Monaghan will be favourites and the fact that Fermanagh beat them in last year’s Ulster SFC will be a boost for Rory Gallagher’s charges.
Following the Ulster SFC defeat to Donegal last weekend, Fermanagh must regroup and go again and Cullen is confident that they can do just that.
“Rory [Gallagher, manager] said in the talk after that we want to win as many championship games as possible now going down the qualifier route,” Cullen told the Fermanagh Herald.
“On our own day we are a challenge for any team. We have a big two weeks ahead now. We’re going to knuckle down, put a big effort in at training and see where we can go over the rest of this summer. It’s not over yet.”
