Kelloggs Cúl Camps TV/Gear: In preparation for this year’s Cul Camps which begin on July 20 in Somerton participants and indeed non-participants can tune in to Cúl Camps TV every day, Monday to Friday, on TG4 until July 17.
The programme airs from 10.25 to 11am and is repeated at 5.15. It is also available on the TG4 Player, making the return to camp activity both live and on demand.
The series now in Week 2 includes skills, drills, games, nutrition, and wellness segments that will appeal to all the family, all provided by multiple All-Ireland winning Cork Camogie and Football star, Rena Buckley, Dublin hurler Liam Rushe and former Donegal football star Kevin Cassidy.
With Cúl Camp places restricted this year due to Covid-19 cancellations, many of the children who would normally take part have missed out on getting their much sought after Cúl Camp gear. Well the good news is that participating or not you can still get the gear which includes a zip-top, jersey and backpack for €35 plus €10 postage at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/buy-gear/
Club Profile: Castleknock Hurling and Football Club is featuring in an episode of the Dublin County Boards ‘Dub Club Chronicles’. It runs for 4 minutes and 51 seconds including some great Club memories – so check it out - you never know you might even see yourself ? There have already been over 13,000 views, a sign of the interest in our Club. Watch it on @CastleknockGAA or @DubGAAOfficial.
Bereavement: The Club extends its heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Diarmuid (Dermo) Conlon on his sudden passing. ‘Dermo’ a native of Castleknock, living in Kilcock, County Kildare, has Castleknock Club links going back to our very first Junior Football team in 1999 and indeed he has a special place in our Club history as the player who scored that team’s first competitive League point. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilís.
The next few weeks will be very exciting if somewhat different for everyone involved so to make sure you don’t miss a minute of it:
