Holders Ballyboden St Endas made it two wins from as many outings in the Dublin SHC with a narrow 2-18 to 2-17 victory over Whitehall Colmcille at Parnell Park tonight.

Goals from Aidan Mellett and Conal Keaney looked to have put Joe Fortune's charges well on course for a comfortable success as they held a 2-12 to 0-6 interval lead.

But the Eoghan O'Donnell-inspired Whitehall had other ideas after the break and their second goal came in the dying seconds to leave a single point between the sides at the finish.

Elsewhere, in Group 4, Lucan Sarsfields bounced back from their one point defeat to 'Boden two weeks ago to beat Setanta by 4-22 to 0-15 at O'Toole Park.

There were two other 'A' second round games in the capital on Good Friday evening when St Brigids overcame Ballinteer St Johns (0-27 to 1-10) and Craobh Chiarain were double-digit winners over St Vincents (0-22 to 0-11).
