How about this for a classy tweet from renowned stats man Ray Boyne.
Boyne served as the data and stats analyst with the Dublin senior hurlers this year, but won't be involved next season following Mattie Kenny's recent appointment as manager in succession to Pat Gilroy. The two-time All-Ireland club winning boss of Cuala is bringing a new management team with him which will be confirmed at the next county board meeting.
While disappointed that his services haven't been retained, Boyne - who was stats man with the Dublin senior footballers from 2003 to '17 - is full of praise for the new management and wishes them every success in 2019. No doubt his services will be sought by some other team very soon.
TweetAm I disappointed not to get the call for the Dub Snr Hurlers? dam right I am
