After ending a run of four TG4 All Ireland Final defeats to Cork, Dublin midfielder Lauren Magee admitted that victory was ‘sweet’. 

‘I think yeah. It’s a great feeling to beat a team we’ve been known to always lose to. We've been able to keep building from last year’.  

Cork beat Dublin in 2009 and from 2014-16, but the Jackies won this time by 3-11 to 1-12 to clinch back-to-back titles.
