U21 Hurling Championship

(Oldest Posts First)

I see the U21's starts tonight. Who would be the favourites this year? We have a very strong lineup but Ballygalget won minor championship when this age group was minor so all to play for.

Handier for the referee it seems!

I think we'll dismiss the Ports with the odd point in 10.

Not bad for a team that won nothing all the way through the underage ranks!

Handy enough win for our lads today. Started slow but in the end rarely needed to get out of 3rd gear to secure the win. All in all not a bad year for the Club!

Took a run over to this match yesterday, very close and tough first half with ports solid looking in defence and Sands looking dangerous up front but goal just on stroke of half time seemed to knock the wind out of them. Crans completely took over in the second half with some great performances from no. 6, 9, 11 and 15. Overheard some ballycran supporters saying that this was the first time this team has ever won anything in their own age group, surely can't be right.

It is right if you'd read my posts.

Ports made a bit of a battle out of it but TBF our hardest game was actually against Ballygalget who cleared up at this age all the way through but are in disarray ATM.

15 point margin says it all.

Never ceases to amaze me the knowledge that other clubs have about Ballygalget, wether right or wrong doesn't same to matter.

Could you let our members know how we are in disarray, first we've heard.
