Kilcoo’s goal hero Aaron Branagan is looking forward to their Ulster Club SFC final showdown with Naomh Conaill.

Speaking to RTE after being presented with the ‘man-of-the-match’ award from today’s semi-final victory at the Athletic Grounds, Branagan reflected on how they were pushed all the way by Derrygonnelly Harps.

“This is not the first time this has happened this year, we tend to leave it late to push on in games but we’re still getting out over the line, we know how to dog out games and, thankfully, we got through it.

“It was a brilliant game, very tough and very well refereed. That’s the way we like it, nice and tough, so we’ll be looking forward to the next game now. We had a wee look at them (Naomh Conaill) last night and they’re very, very good so we know what we have to do.”

The number six outlined what the win meant to him and his team-mates…

“There's nothing else to do in Kilcoo except play football. You go to Mass and have a few sheep and that's really it so football is absolutely everything. To get here again is absolutely brilliant.”
