Tuesday 17th 11am Chair Yoga; 6pm Irish Dancing; 6.30pm to 7.30pm Registration for Kingdom to Croker walkers and 7.30pm to 8.30pm Registration for Kingdom to Croker runners/drivers, please make ALL returns at these times and collect your Kingdom to Croker top; 7pm YC activities; 8.30pm Kingdom to Croker meeting; 9pm Lotto

Wednesday 18th 11am Men’s Shed; 6.30pm u18 Gaelic @ Pairc Esler An Ríocht v Tullylish; 7pm YC activities

Thursday 19th 6.30pm YC activities; 7pm launch of a new programme from the County Down Rural Community Network consisting of training, social and networking opportunities; visits to other Men’s Sheds outside of the Newry, Mourne & Down Council area including a hotel residential; & a district-wide conference where sheds will hear from industry experts.

Friday 20th 11am Men’s Shed; 2.30pm Kingdom to Croker start, first runners leave Dunavil, come out and cheer them off; 5.30pm u10 Gaelic; 6.30pm YC activities

Saturday 21st No practice today; 11am to 2.30pm Community Growers Forum at the Ark Community Garden in Newcastle, includes lunch; the big day has arrived, Kingdom to Croker, full details will be given out at Registration on Tuesday.

Sunday 22nd 10am Breakfast; 11am u11 Gaelic Atticall v An Ríocht; 12pm u13 Gaelic Atticall v An Ríocht; 2pm Birthday Party; 8pm Bingo

Monday 23rd 11am Men’s Shed; 6.30pm all underage camogie practice; 7pm YC activities; 9pm Lotto

Tuesday 24th Men’s Shed trip to Cork; 6pm Irish Dancing; 7pm YC activities

At the Kingdom Men’s Shed Annual General Meeting, the officers were returned for another year.

 

Mourne Stimulus Acti-Sport took place at Dunavil on Friday

 

At the Jim Mulholland Cup & Shield u10 Gaelic, An Ríocht fielded two teams and enjoyed games with Kilcoo, Sarsfields, Carrckcruppen, Rostrevor, Trillick, Moneyglass and Silverbridge. The Cup was won by Fintona and the Shield by Carrickcruppen. Thanks to everyone who helped with the preparations and particularly those who attended on the day to ensure the smooth running of this important event in our club calendar.

 

At the u11 Gaelic v Eire Og, An Riocht got off to a good start with a win.

 

The u13 Gaelic v Eire Og did not take place.

 

Week 58 (purple) Bingo House £200 Tony Donnan; Week 59 (orange) available from McVeighs Costcutter Dunavil, P&J Morgan Newsagent Newry Street, Rafferty’s Garage or the club.

 

The world famous Fureys – Sweet Sixteen, Green Fields of France, Red Rose Café – will be appearing at An Ríocht on Friday 15th October, tickets £25 going fast.

 

Kingdom Lotto is recruiting checkers for a rota, can you give 2 hours once a month on a Monday 7pm to 9pm; if so, please see any committee member. Thanks to those who have given in their name already.
