The Senior Camogs kept their eye in ahead of the resumption of the league with games v Bredagh and v Kilcoo.

 

The u14 Camogie An Riocht v Ballela was postponed for a week.

 

In the u18 Gaelic An Ríocht v Ballylough, we lost a high scoring game by five, 5-21 to 8-17.

 

In the u14 Gaelic, An Ríocht v Warrenpoint we won 12-16 to 3-13.

 

The u16 Gaelic An Ríocht v Bosco was postponed to a later date.

 

At the Senior Gaelic Saul v An Ríocht, we came away with two valuable points on a 2-11 to 1-11 score line.

 

At the u12 Gaelic Pat Doyle Tournament in Liatroim we won the Shield.

 

The u6 and u8 Camogs enjoyed friendly games with Warrenpoint at the weekend.

 

In the u12 Camogie Mayobridge v An Ríocht, we won 9-3 to 3-1.

 

In the u12 Gaelic An Ríocht v Drumgath, we won 6-14 to 3-5.

 

The u8 footballers had a fun filled game with Warrenpoint on Sunday morning.

 

The new Club Gear Shop will open on Saturday morning between 10.30am and 12.30pm with a big, big sale – 30% off all items during that two-hour window.

 

Don’t forget the end of school disco on Thursday evening with DJ Alex and the big raffle draw.

 

There was great excitement on Saturday morning with lots and lots of young players attending to take part in the promotional video being shot at the club, well done to everyone who made it.

 

Congratulations to Beth, Lorna and Ruairi who completed their YA Youth Worker Training on Wednesday past.

An Riocht (Down) Underage Camogie Tournaments take place on Saturday 31 August 2019 - the Patsy Conkey U12 9-a-side and the Sharon Morgan U16 7-a-side. There are 8 pitches in use and both competitions will take place simultaneously. All our Tournaments have been organised in accordance with County, Provincial & National regulations. The emphasis in all the tournaments will be on enjoyment and playing against new teams. Teas and donuts, burgers and chips and juice will be on sale. The first games will start at 10am, with the finals taking place before 3pm. To confirm participation please email [email protected]

 

Kingdom 2 Croker ‘The Traditional Route’ on Saturday 21st September, join us for a walk / run / cycle / solo / relay to Croke Park taking the same route Down’s 5 All Ireland Winning teams took en route to Sam Maguire.
