At the Senior Camogie, after the disjointed lows of Liatroim, we enjoyed the success of hard work and team play with a 5-17 to 4-6 win over Portaferry. Best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery to Aine who was injured in the last play of the night.

At the Reserve Gaelic in Castlewellan we lost 5-14 to 3-4.

We won the u12 Camogie in Darragh Cross 4-3 to 1-0.

The u12 footballers played in the Brian O’Hare Tournament enjoying games with St Johns Belfast, Saul, Killeavy, Greenlough, Fr Rocks, Keady, Fintona, Shamrocks and Armagh Harps. 25 teams took part and despite the showery weather everyone had a memorable experience playing against teams they would not usually meet. Thanks to all the teams who took part and to our army of volunteers who helped in all aspects including setting-up, co-ordinating, in the kitchen/shop, car parking, refereeing, runners, tidy-uppers etc. Its all to do again this week and all offers of help would be much appreciated.

The u12 Gaelic v Glenn was postponed due to Dromintine Fete.

Good Luck to Conor Clarke and Down u20 footballers in the Leo Murphy Cup Final at the weekend. Leo was a double All Ireland Senior Championship winner and won Club Championships with Kilkeel.
