*Aughlisnafin U13’s will play our near neighbours St John’s in the semi final of the championship this Sunday at 11 am at Pairc Baile Anna. Good luck guys !

*The AGM will be held on Friday 30th November at 8 pm in Annsborough social club. Please return all nomination/motion & recommendation forms to the club secretary no later than this Friday 9th November. They can be downloaded from our members only facebook page or emailed upon request. Please note that you must seek permission from those who you may wish to nominate for officer positions on the executive committee.

*Our club were represented at the Down County Dinner which was a superb evening of dining and nostalgia. Those players and back room team involved with the Down 1968 All Ireland winning team were rightfully feted and it was great to see three of the great players there from the Kerry side they defeated in that memorable final in Croke Park. Very well done to all the Down football and hurling championship award winners on the night and to one of the all time greats, the legendary Down forward Sean O’Neill, on his induction to the Down GAA Hall Of Fame.

*Our Scór na nÓg competitors Connee Ní Fhlanagáin, Genevieve Ní Leannacháin, Ellen Ní Coinne, Fionnuala Pickering and Shannon Ní Mhuirí will take part in the ballad category at the Dan Rice Hall in Drumaness this Friday evening. To mark their participation in what will be the 50th anniversary of Scór the girls will receive a special certificate. Thanks to Corinne Ní Fhlanagáin and Ciara Pickering for their help mentoring our scor competitors. Ádh mór a cailiní !

*Well done to our juvenile members Claire and Genevieve Lenaghan who competed at the Oireachtas Rince Uladh of Irish Dancing in Letterkenny at the weekend. Both girls are also members of Brennan/Miskelly/McCormick School of Irish Dancing. Claire was placed second and Genevieve placed twelfth in their respective grades in the Priomh Comortas. Claire also helped her team to sixth place in the team dancing category.
