St Eunan's Letterkenny club notes

July 16, 2018

The Senior Hurlers opened their Championship campaign on Sunday evening with a game against reigning champions Setanta. A good first half display saw a very young team trail by the minimum at half-time before the holders experience told in the 2nd half of a high scoring game finishing 1-27 to 1-14. Their next outing is away against MacCumhaills, that game I set for Saturday evening but may change due to the Donegal Senior footballers game in Roscommon.

The Seniors and Reserves are due to face Gaoth Dobhair away this Thursday evening (19th) but it remains to be seen if both games will go ahead after the recent Reserve game was reversed to Gaoth Dobhair.

The Senior Ladies game away to St. Naul's last Sunday was cancelled, they travel to Milford on Sunday morning for their Championship q-final 2nd leg with an 11am throw-in. Best of luck to Kaneshia McKinney and Ciara Grant who are part of the Donegal Senior Ladies team that begin their round-robin All-Ireland q-final series this weekend against Tipperary.
