One O' Byrne Cup in 7 years is simply not good enough.

Replying To Temple56:  "All the pressure on Caulry They are a arrogant bunch of players and wont feel the pressure. People around Mount Temple are already talking about a S/F Vs The Downs and how they will beat them. They still have to get pass Shamrocks and Tyrellspass....."
You're right there about Caulry! The arrogance oozing out of the club at all levels. Their ladies were hammered by Kinnegad in the championship recently. But they have successfully appealed the result on the grounds that Kinnegad had no number attached to one their players on the team sheet! And they knowing well who the player in question was as she played county this year. They were awarded the points anyway.

Another Own Goal By The GAA - 3 Like(s)
Why aren't Joe McDonagh Cup players being recognised at the All Stars this evening? There were four Champion 15 teams each for the McDonagh, Ring, Rackard and Meagher Cup competitions one time. This year they have rolled them into one Champion 15 and forgot about Joe McDonagh Cup players?? Paddy Purcell was named Joe McDonagh Player of the Year but what about the other Laois lads and Westmeath's Killian Doyle who scored 3-61 during in the championship? What a joke.

Replying To Westmeath fan:  "So what you are saying is that Kinnegad failed to list one of their players on the official teamsheet (who just happened to be one of their county players)? Sounds like a Kinnegad problem to me!"
No. Kinnegad didn't fail to list any of their players. They just didn't have a number beside one of them on the team sheet. That's a technical error which Caulry have cunningly followed up on. County threw it out as they obviously knew the player involved. The arrogant crew then took it further €. This was a game Caulry lost by eight points but felt they deserved the points? Arrogance is right.

All Star Football Token Nominations - 1 Like(s)
Niall Sludden is the only Tyrone forward to receive a nomination. Off the top of my head Cathal McShane and Connor McAliskey deserve to be there over Paul Broderick. As well Peter Harte is nominated in defence despite him playing most of his championship football in the forwards.

Cul Camps Are Going Ahead - 1 Like(s)
Great news about the Cul Camps today. It will give all the kids that have missed so much in the last few months something to look forward to in the next few months. I see a small number of clubs in Cork have decided not to run with their own. Clubs that have will be in a race against time now to be ready by 20 July. 157,000 children participated in the camps last year. Was it the right decision to go ahead with them with health and safety measures being a priority?

Replying To LockLeanGayl:  "Fine game. Good to see it flow. Massive physicality. Clonkill worthy champions, beating Raharney and Castletown is doing it the hard way"
Congratulations to them but you know the SHC format is flawed when a team can lose their first three matches and still win the championship.

Con O'Callaghan - Cuala to Mullingar Shamrocks, Westmeath. I see what you did there. Con's father played for Westmeath in football and hurling and his grandfather was county board chairman. The O'Callaghan's are originally from Cork but we'll take them off ye. Pity poor Jonny Cooper having to go play his football in Leitrim.
