Team news: Joyce hands out four debuts

Galway boss Padraic Joyce has handed debuts to four players for their Allianz FL Division 1 opener against Monaghan on Sunday.

Dunmore MacHales goalkeeper Conor Gleeson, who made two crucial saves in the recent Connacht FBD semi-final penalty shoot-out win over neighbours Mayo, will make his first league start between the posts.

Full-back Sean Mulkerrin (Oileain Arann) and attacking duo Michael Boyle (Killererin) and Robert Finnerty (Salthill-Knocknacarra) are the other newcomers in Joyce's line-up to face the Farney County at Pearse Stadium.
