In trouncing Termon 6-18 to 0-8 in yesterday's Donegal SFC third round clash at Davy Brennan Memorial Park, reigning champions Naomh Conaill all but guaranteed themselves a home quarter-final.

Anthony Thompson and Ethan O'Donnell bagged goals in the first half - at the end of which the Glenties held a 2-11 to 0-3 lead. The floodgates really opened afterwards as Charles McGuinness, Kevin McGettigan and substitute AJ Gallagher (2) tagged on further three pointers.

Naomh Conaill have cruised through their first three outings in their defence of the Dr Maguire Cup, having also beaten Milford 3-20 to 0-6 and Ardara 0-18 to 0-5.
