Death of Cavan All-Ireland SFC winner

James McCabe, an All-Ireland SFC winner with Cavan in 1952, has died aged 89.

He is the second member of Cavan's last All-Ireland winning team to die in recent weeks with Johnny Cusack also passing away.

McCabe was corner back when the Breffni County defeated neighbours Meath in the 1952 All-Ireland final after a replay at Croke Park.
