Matthew 'Mickey' Leslie of 208 St Finian's Park passed away on December 9, 2008. He lived most of his adult live in Drogheda and was an ardent GAA fan. Matthew represented the Wolfe Tones club for 25 years and lined out for the Louth minors in the 1950s. He was a member of the Defence Forces from 1955 until 1980 and served in the Congo and Cyprus.
