The town of Dundalk was left devastated on Thursday October 29th, 2009 by the sudden death of 20-year-old Jamie Clarke of Ashling Park. A kind and funny young man, Jamie loved sport and was a fine soccer and gaelic footballer. He was a supporter and member of Clan na Gael GFC, following in his father Jim's footsteps by lining out for the club from a very young age. A Clan na Gael jersey was amongst the offerings at Jamie's funeral mass.
