From Ardtullybeg, Riverstown, Dundalk, James McGrath passed away on January 11th, 2017, a day before his 79th birthday. An only child who worked many jobs, including the family farm and a lorry driver, James was a keen GAA follower with a particular affinity for the local Cooley Kickhams club. At his funeral mass in St James' Church, Grange, a Cooley Kickhams jersey was placed on the altar to symbolise his love of sport.
