Offaly's Pat Teehan succeeded GAA presidential candidate and Carlow man Jim Bolger as chairman of the Leinster Council in Birr yesterday.
The convention also saw Wexford's Derek Kent replace Teehan as vice-chairman and Colm Finnegan elected as treasurer in succession to Westmeath's Pat Lynagh who moves to PRO. Michael Reynolds continues as full-time secretary.
Coolderry clubman Teehan brings a wealth of experience to the chair, having previously served as Offaly county board chairman from 2007 to '11, and also as Offaly PRO and Central Council delegate.
