Laois manager Eddie Brennan has included four debutants in his team for tomorrow's Walsh Cup clash with neighbours Carlow.
Liam Senior (Clonaslee), Fiachra C Fennell (Rosenallis), Ciaran McEvoy (Portlaoise) and Ronan Broderick (Clough-Ballacolla) will make their first starts at Netwatch Cullen Park, while Rathdowney-Errill's James Ryan also returns to the side after a year's absence.
The Joe McDonagh Cup winners are planning without Cha Dwyer, Ben Conroy and Stephen 'Picky' Maher for the season ahead, while Mark Kavanagh and Eanna Lyons are long-term injury absentees.
