4. Declan Hogan (Offaly)

Hogan and Offaly survived a strong second-half comeback from Louth to claim the spoils in Drogheda.

5. Eoin Carroll (Offaly)

Carroll sent over three points in the Faithful County’s three-point success.

6. Emmet Carolan (Louth)

No finger of blame for the Wee County’s defeat can be pointed in the direction of their centre-back.

The Garden County's captain led by example with two points in the win over Sligo.

9. John O’Loughlin (Laois)

The experienced midfielder kept battling away but was powerless to prevent his team from slipping to a 10-point loss.

10. Oisin Pierson (Cavan)

Issued an early statement of intent with a point after 15 seconds and finished with 0-3 to his name.

11. Brian Magee (Cavan)

Cavan’s confidence will be high ahead of next weekend’s Ulster derby with Fermanagh in round 4.

12. Darren Hayden (Wicklow)

Hayden and this team-mates boosted their promotion prospects when inflicting a first defeat on Sligo.

13. Seanie Furlong (Wicklow)
