Here are the players that stood out for us in the three Allianz football league games that were re-fixed for yesterday…

1. Raymond Galligan (Cavan)

Denied Gary Walsh a goal with a penalty save late on and the Breffni County now have two wins in-a-row under their belt.

2. Stephen Murray (Cavan)

Introduced as a half-time substitute in O’Moore Park, the number 2 made a big impact with two goals.

3. Eddie McGuinness (Sligo)

The Yeats County came away from Aughrim empty-handed after suffering a 1-10 to 1-15 defeat.

4. Declan Hogan (Offaly)

Hogan and Offaly survived a strong second-half comeback from Louth to claim the spoils in Drogheda.

5. Eoin Carroll (Offaly)

Carroll sent over three points in the Faithful County’s three-point success.

6. Emmet Carolan (Louth)

No finger of blame for the Wee County’s defeat can be pointed in the direction of their centre-back.

7. Gerard Smith (Cavan)

Smith’s raids into enemy territory yielded three first-half points.

8. Dean Healy (Wicklow)

The Garden County's captain led by example with two points in the win over Sligo.

9. John O’Loughlin (Laois)

The experienced midfielder kept battling away but was powerless to prevent his team from slipping to a 10-point loss.

10. Oisin Pierson (Cavan)

Issued an early statement of intent with a point after 15 seconds and finished with 0-3 to his name.

11. Brian Magee (Cavan)

Cavan’s confidence will be high ahead of next weekend’s Ulster derby with Fermanagh in round 4.

12. Darren Hayden (Wicklow)

Hayden and this team-mates boosted their promotion prospects when inflicting a first defeat on Sligo.

13. Seanie Furlong (Wicklow)

The experienced Furlong took the scoring honours with 1-3.

14. Sam Mulroy (Louth)

Along with substitute Declan Byrne, Mulroy was heavily involved in a spirited second-half display by Wayne Kierans’ side.

15. Ruairi McNamee (Offaly)

McNamee registered 1-4 (1-3 from play) as John Maughan’s men enjoyed their first win in Division 3.
