Damien Comer could feature for Galway in their All-Ireland SFC Round 4 Qualifier on the weekend after next after making a return to club action last Friday evening.

Comer has yet to see action for the Tribesmen this year after fracturing a bone in his foot while playing a charity soccer match on St Stephen's Day. Galway have badly missed their captain who starred in their run to the Allianz League final and All-Ireland semi-final last year.

Comer came off the bench for Annaghdown against Tuam Stars in the Galway SFC, but he couldn't save them from a 0-7 to 1-9 defeat, with Jamie Murphy bagging 1-3 for the winners.

Meanwhile, another county forward, Martin Farragher, scored a hat-trick of goals for back-to-back All-Ireland champions Corofin in their 5-20 to 0-11 demolition of St James'.
