Kerry and Mayo will contest this year's Allianz FL Division 1 final while there were promotion celebrations in Donegal, Meath and Laois. Here's our football team of the week...
1. Cathal McCrann (Leitrim)
McCrann and his Leitrim team-mates are Croke Park bound to take on Derry in the Division 4 decider.
2. Fergal Donohue (Louth)
Louth threw the cat amongst the pigeons in Division 3 when defeating Down and Donohue was one of their standout performers.
3. Patrick Burns (Armagh)
Burns stood out in defence for the Orchard County as they went down narrowly to Cork on home soil.
4. Boidu Sayeh (Westmeath)
Along with Ronan O’Toole and Ger Egan, Sayeh produce an impressive performance in the Lake County’s four-point success over Longford.
5. James McEntee (Meath)
Meath achieved a long overdue promotion to Division 1 and McEntee contributed 1-1 to their winning tally against Fermanagh.
6. Leo McLoone (Donegal)
The experienced McLoone was a commanding presence in the heart of the Donegal defence as they booked an immediate return to the top flight at Kildare’s expense.
7. Paul Murphy (Kerry)
Murphy maintained his fine start to the season with another industrious performance against Roscommon in Dr Hyde Park.
8. Gary Brennan (Clare)
Clare survived in Division 2 by the skin of their teeth thanks to a late smash and grab raid against Tipperary.
9. Kieran Lillis (Laois)
Lillis and the O’Moore County secured promotion for the second year running courtesy of a three-point local derby win over Carlow.
10. Cillian O’Sullivan (Meath)
The Royal County were slow out of the traps against Fermanagh but O’Sullivan got them going with their first point in the 16th minute and he finished with 0-4 to his name.
11. Sean O’Shea (Kerry)
The Kerry number 11 is practically a permanent fixture on the team of the week at this stage – he pilfered 1-5 against the Rossies.
12. Shane Walsh (Galway)
Walsh showcased his range of skills against Tyrone and can consider himself unlucky to have finished on the wrong side of the result.
13. Kevin McLoughlin (Mayo)
McLoughlin pick-pocketed Monaghan to the tune of 2-2 as Mayo set up a final showdown with Kerry.
14. Jack McCarron (Monaghan)
Along with Conor McManus, McCarron – who scored seven points – was in fine form at the opposite end of the MacHale Park field.
15. Mattie Donnelly (Tyrone)
For the second week running, Donnelly and Cathal McShane inflicted plenty of damage on the opposition’s full-back line.
