Team news: Cody handed first start for Cats

Rising Ballyhale Shamrocks star Eoin Cody has been named at centre-forward on the Kilkenny team for tomorrow’s Allianz HL Division 1B clash with Laois.

Cody came off the bench for his first senior appearance in last weekend’s draw with Clare and he is one of six changes that Brian Cody has made to his starting 15 for the visit of the O’Moore County to Nowlan Park.

Padraig Walsh makes his 2020 bow at centre-back while Tommy Walsh, James Maher, Martin Keoghan and Ger Aylward will also start with Conor Browne, Paddy Deegan, Cillian Buckley, Richie Hogan, John Donnelly and the injured Adrian Mullen making way.
