Replying To GreenandRed:  "More than thanks for this advice AnDunCeanada. Got parking handy enough in the Buttercrane. Comiserations on the result. I'm glad ye didn't threaten our goal as much in the first half as in the second half, was very nervous when I saw ye kicking more ball in there."
You're very welcome GreenandRed, congratulations on the win and hope you enjoyed the trip up. Hopefully see you lot again in the not too distant future.

Will take the diplomatic approach and say that I feel the truth is somewhere in the middle. I understand the critique of the county board, I don't think anyone can argue that certain members and their long term tenures have resulted in positive growth for the county. BUT I also see reasons for optimism this year with some of the performances of the senior team and especially what (so far anyway) looks like a great crop of U20's. Year 1 of Paddy Tally's reign feels like a step in the right direction to me.

I think everyone is asking for the same thing - a long term strategy and subsequent accountability from those in the positions of power. Tally was openly building a team in his first season and since then has managed during 2 years of COVID. Has he made plenty of mistakes? In my opinion yes - but I'd also argue he hasn't ever had time with his ideal panel and I can sense that frustration from him. As people have said on here - as a county, what have we learned and improved upon over the last few years? Have we achieved our goals? (If so what where they?) and what's the next steps? How are we setting ourselves up for sustainable growth and success?
