Can the GAA survive the Rugby onslaught - 4 Like(s)
I've no axe to grind but for me if I was being honest I enjoy watching sport in the following order. Hurling, rugby, gaelic, soccer. I wonder are more people turning away from gaelic due to its change in style and reduction in excitement

Used to go to all the football and hurling, but got put off by football fraternities attempts to strangle hurling so don't go to football anymore.

played it few times, very similar to each other, really enjoyable, love watching it. Shinty and commons(camanach) which was played in Ulster mainly are very similar

5600 for Ring/Rackard/Meagher Hurling finals wouldn't be too bad if they were played in smaller ground to improve atmosphere. I totally understand the players wanting to play in Croke Park however. The GAA should be aiming to get the crowd numbers up to about 10-15K for these over next few years. Great win for the Oakleafers. Back where we belong.
