Replying To Breffinifan:  "Crosserlough very poor. Didn't seem to have a game plan . Ramor will get a tougher test the next day . Jack Doyle was mom with 4 goals and a point. Bradley was quiet by his high standards. Brein o Connell definitely a county Senior player in the making . Southern Gaels will put it up to Ramor . Galligan got a stupid red card when the game was over and them winning. What comes over lads. Gaels in trouble again with county board. Discipline a big problem there. There is no place for that kind of behavior. Naoimh Brid will win div 2 out ."
Cavan Gaels that should read . Discipline a real problem.

Was at ramor game last night and i know its hard to see them stopped but southern gaels have a thing for beating ramor so dont rule them out yet lads!! Jack doyle was excellent last night again but had to be carried off so that could be him gone, smart went down with his hamstring and James brady is injured too, 3 massive losses. Conor farrelly really stud up last night night so did killian mcguire but i think yous are all writing southern gaels off too easy. Pierson, madden, fitzpatrick to name just a few.Interesting weeks ahead!

how were a 4 team amalgamation in Division 2? Belturbet,Butlersbridge,Drumalee,Redhills .. they still didn't beat Templeport which is good to see.

Winning at all costs with some of the amalgamation set ups. Some clubs could field 15 players if they made the effort

So only 3 teams left in div 1,southern and Assan should be a right good game,Magee played well yesterday and Doughty and Adam Reilly getting the goals and Gilchreest and conaty also showing well.ramor came through Saturday night, tricky game after winning other games handy.Conor Bradley was the best player on the field, and with Doyle and James brady quiet enuf on the night,if they step up in the final they should see it out.was impressed with laragh though and should feature in another year.

It is somewhat strange to see Cavan Gaels celebrating a div2 u21 championship. In years gone by this would a been embarrassing for them. What ever happened in the club they have let standards slip in recent years, their senior team still has the players to walk Senior Championships but in the last few years they have never really clicked in my opinion.

the gaels have not won a minor championship since 2010, and in recent years even had to amalgamate for it, so why would they not celebrate winning an u21, even if its div 2. No club can keep producing great underage teams, the population rarely allows for it.
