Tomorrow sees start of club championships. Good write ups in local media about the clubs. Looking forward to some good football and hopefully a few risin stars. Castlerahan look the on form team but I wouldn't rule out the Gaels. What about the styles of football been played? Lacken very defensive , Kingscourt nice attackin football. Mullahoran not too far away or what about Killygarry gave it a good rattle last year. Cootehill look of the pace beaten in them last 3 games? Ballyhaise too strugglin a bit? Ramor dark horses? Love the championship, can throw up some surprises. Any thoughts?

Well Ramor destroyed a very young and weak Denn team. Very hard to asses the overall quality of Ramor but they did what they had to do and destroyed Denn. Some nice play from most of the Ramor players. Worth noting the Denn goal keepers ability to pop frees over from 45 and 50 meters.

The Ramor team wasnt exactly aged either, but you do make a few fair points

Crossarlough threw it away. Winning by six into injury time. Ref gave a very very soft penalty. Kilashandra scored it got the kick out and scored another but was into six minutes of injury time for some reason.
Was at ballinagh and mullahorn game aswell. Imo ballinagh the better team just no inside forwards. Mulllahorn always hard beat.
The stanard of refereeing in both matches poor and inconsistent.
Especially the kilashandra crossarlough game.
